Persistence Capital Partners invests in mdBriefCase

The CVCA is reporting that Persistence Capital Partners (PCP) has placed a significant equity investment in continuing health education provider mdBriefCase (terms of the deal were not disclosed).

Based in Toronto, with a team of 40 employees, mdBriefCase builds online continuing health and medical education programs for pharmacists, nurses, family physicians and patients. mdBriefCase’s free, interactive multimedia programs are a primary source of accredited continuing education for its members.

“Our partnership with PCP will help to strengthen our position as the leading provider in online health education programs and accelerate our expansion into new markets, technologies and geographies,” said Greg Cook, Founder & CEO at mdBriefCase. “Dan Denomme, President of mdBriefCase, Canada, and Derek Bryan, Managing Director, Australia, will continue to be an integral part of our growth strategy, leading their respective teams and servicing our valued clients.”

mdBriefCase currently has over 125,000 members for its online education programs.
