The second annual NEXTBC Showcase of Innovation & Awards Night has been announced and will take place in Vancouver on May 21st at Science World. The event is in partnership with DigiBC, an industry association for digital media and wireless companies in British Columbia.
NEXTBC’s goal is to bring together the B.C. tech community to “network, see, and touch the latest innovations from B.C.’s top companies.” There will also be an awards portion to the night, with a total of six awards up for grabs:
– Most Innovative Start-up
– Most Innovative Business Solution
– Most Innovative Entertainment
– Most Innovative Digital Media Solution
– Most Disruptive Innovation
The final and most sought after award is the “Most Innovative Company of the Year.” Winners of the above awards will have the opportunity to pitch a panelist as to why their business/innovation deserves to be crowned with top honours.
Tickets for start at $35 for students, $40 for member, and $65 for general admission.
