Hootsuite raises $60 million, plans to ‘bring the most innovative products to market’

Hootsuite, creators of a social media dashboard tool for enterprise and individuals, has raised another massive round of funding. This time a staggering $60 million from Accel Partners, Insight Venture Partners, and Silicon Valley Bank. This investment is in addition to the $35 million in September and brings its total financing to $250 million (USD).

“This financing will help us scale even faster on a global level and bring the most innovative products to market. The strong commitment from investors during this time of amazing growth marks an exciting milestone for Hootsuite,” said Ryan Holmes, CEO of Hootsuite.

Hootsuite is used by 1600 enterprise customers and has over 10 million customers in over 175 countries. The $60 million will be used to acquire companies to expand its offering and also enter key markets.
