Hexoskin wins the “People’s Choice” award for “Connected Body Product” in the Postscapes Internet of Things competition

Monntreal-based Hexoskin has is continuing its success in 2015 and announced it recently won a “People’s Choice” award in the category “Connected Body Product” in the Postscapes Internet of Things competition. The competition was fierce as they were up against Vital Connect Health Patch, Zebra MotionWorks, Boogio, and fellow Canadian startups Thalmic Labs for Myo and Nymi for the Nymi Band.

Hexoskin is a biometric shirt that tracks your movement, respiration and heart activity. The device records all your body metrics and sends that data over to a Bluetooth connected device, such as a smartphone or tablet. The data is then interpreted in an app to help you optimize your physical training, monitor stress and even improve your sleep. Hexoskin believes that the more you know about your body, the longer, happier and healthier you will live.

Hexoskin successfully wrapped its Indiegogo campaign last year and is currently shipping its wearable worldwide. This latest award joins others such as the Most Innovative Consumer Health Product (Interface 2014 Conference), Gartner Cool Vendor in Wearable Electronics 2014, and the best wearable device award at the Wearable Tech Expo in 2013.
